Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 29, 2026

Creator Cube ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Creator Cube, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you register, we collect your email address and password (hashed, never stored in plain text). If you sign up with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. You may also provide your full name, username, and location as part of your profile.

Profile information. To participate as a creator or cube host, you may optionally provide a bio, social media profile links, avatar photo, follower counts, engagement rates, and a geographic location for map display. This information is displayed publicly on your profile and cube pages.

Payment information. Campaign payments and creator payouts are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card numbers, bank account details, or other sensitive payment data on our servers. We receive and store Stripe account IDs, transaction identifiers, and payment status information necessary to operate the platform.

Usage data. We collect information about how you interact with the platform, including pages visited, features used, campaigns created or applied to, and timestamps of activity. This data helps us improve the platform and may be used for analytics.

Cookies and tracking. We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. This includes session cookies for authentication, a referral tracking cookie for the affiliate program, and analytics cookies if analytics are enabled.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to operate and improve the Creator Cube platform. Specifically, this includes creating and managing your account, authenticating your identity on login, processing campaign payments and creator payouts, matching creators and cubes with brand campaign opportunities, displaying public profiles and cubes on the platform map, and sending in-app notifications about campaign activity, milestone updates, and earnings.

We may use aggregated, anonymized usage data to understand how the platform is used, identify bugs or performance issues, develop new features, and generate internal reports. This data cannot be used to identify individual users.

We may send you transactional emails related to your account (such as email confirmation, password resets, and payment receipts) and operational notifications (such as campaign status updates). You may not opt out of transactional emails while your account remains active. We do not currently send marketing emails, but if we introduce them in the future, we will provide a clear opt-out mechanism.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We share your information only in the following circumstances.

With Stripe for processing payments, managing connected payout accounts, and fraud prevention. Stripe's use of your data is governed by Stripe's own privacy policy.

With Supabase as our database and authentication infrastructure provider. Your data is stored securely in Supabase's managed Postgres database with row-level security policies enforced.

With Mapbox to render the interactive map on the platform. If you enable your location for display, your approximate geographic coordinates are used to place your cube on the map.

With Google if you choose to sign in using Google OAuth. Google receives confirmation of the authentication event.

With other platform users as part of normal platform operation. Your public profile information (username, bio, avatar, social links, cube membership, and rankings) is visible to other users. Campaign details you create or participate in may be visible to the counterparties of those campaigns.

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of any person or to prevent fraud or abuse of the platform.

4. Cookies

Creator Cube uses cookies and local storage for essential platform functionality, affiliate referral attribution, and analytics. Session cookies keep you logged in as you navigate the platform. A referral tracking cookie (named cc_ref) with a 60-day expiry is set when you arrive via a referral link to support our affiliate program. Analytics cookies may be used if we enable a product analytics tool such as PostHog.

For full details on cookies we use and how to manage them, please see our Cookie Policy.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain records for legal or financial compliance purposes (such as completed payment records, which we may be required to retain for up to seven years under applicable law). Content you have submitted as part of campaigns may be retained in anonymized or aggregated form.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data: the right to access the personal data we hold about you, the right to correct inaccurate or incomplete data, the right to request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements), the right to export your data in a portable format, and the right to withdraw consent for any processing based on consent.

To exercise these rights, please contact us at privacy@creatorcube.co. We will respond to verifiable requests within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests.

7. Children's Privacy

Creator Cube is not intended for or directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will terminate their account and delete any associated personal data. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us immediately.

8. Security

We take security seriously and implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest in our database. Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis. Row-level security policies are enforced at the database layer to ensure that users can only access data they are authorized to view. We conduct regular reviews of our security practices, but no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.

9. International Users

Creator Cube is operated in the United States. If you are accessing the platform from outside the United States, please be aware that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. By using Creator Cube, you consent to this transfer and processing. We take steps to ensure that any international data transfers comply with applicable data protection laws.

10. California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) grants you additional rights. You have the right to know what personal information we collect, disclose, or sell about you. You have the right to request deletion of your personal information. You have the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information — however, Creator Cube does not sell personal information, so this right is not applicable. You have the right to non-discrimination for exercising your CCPA rights.

To submit a CCPA request, please contact us at privacy@creatorcube.co with "CCPA Request" in the subject line. We will respond within 45 days.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal and regulatory reasons. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where required by law, provide notice via email or a prominent in-app notice. Your continued use of Creator Cube after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
