1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, remember your preferences, and provide information to the site owner. Some cookies are essential for the site to function at all, while others serve optional purposes such as analytics or personalization.
We also use browser local storage in a similar way to cookies | to store small pieces of data on your device that improve your experience on the platform.
2. Essential Cookies
Essential cookies are required for Creator Cube to function. Without them, core features such as logging in and navigating the platform would not work. These cookies cannot be disabled without breaking the service.

Authentication is provided by Supabase. The sb-* prefix includes your Supabase project reference. These cookies are first-party cookies set by creatorcube.co.
3. Functional Cookies
Functional cookies enable specific features of the platform beyond basic authentication. They are set by Creator Cube directly.

The cc_ref cookie is set only when you arrive on Creator Cube through a referral link. It stores only the referral code (a short alphanumeric string) and no personal data about the referrer or yourself. It is cleared immediately after you complete signup and the referral is recorded.
4. Analytics Cookies
Creator Cube may use PostHog, a product analytics platform, to understand how users interact with the platform. If analytics are enabled, PostHog sets cookies to track sessions, page views, and feature usage. This data is aggregated and used to improve the platform | it is not sold or shared for advertising purposes.
Analytics data is collected only when PostHog is enabled in our configuration. You can opt out of analytics tracking by adjusting your browser settings to block third-party cookies or by using a browser extension that blocks tracking scripts.
5. Third-Party Cookies
Some third-party services integrated into Creator Cube may set their own cookies on your device. Creator Cube does not control these cookies and they are governed by the respective third party's privacy policy.
Stripe may set cookies when you interact with payment forms or Stripe Connect onboarding flows. These cookies are used for fraud prevention and to maintain session state during the payment process.
Google OAuth sets cookies during the Google sign-in flow to maintain the OAuth session. These are cleared after the authentication is complete.
Mapbox may store data in local storage when rendering the interactive map to cache tile data and improve map performance.
6. How to Manage Cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to view, delete, and block cookies. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent Creator Cube from working correctly | you will not be able to log in or use authenticated features.
